In 2009 Point Blank proudly realised one of its longest standing aims with the purchase of The Riverside and has been developing the building into a vibrant live arts & entertainment venue. The bar is uniquely located on the banks of the River Don in the heart of the burgeoning Kelham Island area.

All year round...The Riverside has a wide selection of Real Ales, Continental Lagers, Fruit Ciders and spirits.
Come and try The Riverside's own 'Riverside Pale' 4.2%, a light refreshing ale courtesy of Sheffield's own The Brew Company. The delicious Winter menu is prepared daily on the premises and is sourced within 20 miles of the pub wherever possible. Also on offer is Sheffield’s most inviting beer garden overlooking the River Don. Where better to relax, grab a bite to eat and quench your thirst? The Riverside is a family friendly venue (a Kids food menu is available). There are also many buffet options suitable for large parties. The Noise Upstairs; Monthly Wednesday Free-form Jazz improv sessions; An evening of un-composed sounds" An avant-garde free-improve jam night. Bring instruments, laptops, voices, toys... Set up in Manchester in June 2007, The Noise Upstairs is an open jam session for anyone interested in improvising. Names are placed in a special hat, trios are created at random, and a whole range of noisy fun ensues. The Riverside is proud to welcome 'The Noise Upstairs' to Sheffield and welcomes anyone and everyone to come down to take part, just turn up on the night with whatever you like to make noise with. This month's special guest act will be Darnall Sinfonia.

Expose Festival
The Riverside Pub and Shoebox lend themselves well to the displaying of art work, the Shoebox can be transformed into a small gallery space (Left: Point Blank's Expose Festival 2010) and the pub itself is animated throughout with prints courtesy of The Old Sweet Shop - Who currently have a permanent exhibition of work up on a rolling display, this work is on sale from The old Sweet shop; 0114 255 8515, 1 Nether Edge Road, Sheffield, S7 1RU.
